Full time Curtain Maker/Seamstress/Machinist – Immediate Start

Experienced in Curtain Making & Soft furnishings?

We are looking for an experienced full time curtain maker to join the team in our workroom, set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside on the outskirts of Winchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experienced seamstresses to hand sew our luxury soft furnishings to the highest standard.

We offer a fully bespoke service both directly to private clients and through a number of Interior Designers across the South Coast and London. 

Skills & Requirements

  • Making up of roman blinds, curtains, cushions, bed throws

  • Hand sewing & machining

  • The ability to work alone and also as part of a team

  • Speed, precision, meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to produce work to the highest standard

  • Adaptability in a fast paced environment

The interview process will also include a practical element. Please be prepared to bring examples of your work such as an Interlined pinch pleated curtain, Interlined roman blind or a Piped cushion cover.

Start date: ASAP

Location: Twyford, near Winchester

Salary: £11.98 ph/ £23,050.00 pa (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8.00 am – 4.00 pm). Part Time may be considered for the right candidate

Term: Permanent
